Project Sky'sEnd

Sky'sEnd is a Tabletop Adventure Fantasy RPG (Roleplaying Game) setting and system designed such that almost any sort of character can be made and played using the core rules, built specifically for those who like a good balance of flexibility and realism without overly complex rules or an excessively arbitrary resolution system. The essential rules of the game can easily fit in one letter-sized sheet of bond paper. The rest of the rules are optional parts that simply add depth and detail to the game.

The game is set in a magical world connected by numerous mystical gates to other worlds, including one gigantic, roiling tear in the fabric of reality called the Worldstorm that connects directly to the "world-between-worlds" that is a path to countless other worlds. Known as the land at the end of the Sky, or Sky'sEnd, this realm has just recently been forged into an mighty empire and brought into a magical industrial age after a great and terrible war. The fledgling empire now hopes for a more peaceful age as it begins to explore, settle, and establish trade with various other realms.

From numerous playtest, we've found that new players can usually learn all they need to know to start playing the game within a few minutes, those somewhat familiar with the system can often design playable characters within five to ten minutes, and it is only the game master who needs to have a fair grasp of the rules so that a fun and excitng game can be run.

The actual Sky'sEnd rulebook, called the Sky'sEnd Adventurer's Manual is complete in termsof text and will be published once I have enough illustrations to decorate the majority of the rulebook pages.
